When I’m 64 …

... here's what I'll do:

I will work with a new team on a new activity in a new environment.

I will help 26 women working in Higher Education to get going on the next stage of their career journey.

I will learn new skills and relearn some old ones.

I will see several inspiring examples of excellence in practice and I will watch, learn and try to emulate.

I will feel 100% certain that I’ve got important and valuable things to offer through my work and my participation.

I will make new friends and feel excited about how they can help me grow, and vice versa.

I will hear from old friends who are interested in the new work that I’m doing.

I will generate new ideas for my business and write an action plan for the next phase of my career.

I will receive praise and thanks for a piece of writing that has informed and resonated with my target audiences.

I will be inspired by what other people have done and how they've done it.

I will help people to rethink what they want and need from work.

I will sit (and pass with distinction!) a piano exam, 47 years after the last one.

I will care for and delight in my children, their children and their dogs.

I am 64 and this was my week and it was great!

How was yours?
